The 20th Anniversary of Baptist Hospital’s Annual Autism Conference - Autism Science at Autism Speaks: Highlights and Emerging Priorities
The prevalence of autism has increased significantly over the past two decades. While this increase may be largely attributed to broader diagnostic criteria and an increase in overall awareness of autism, it nonetheless means there has never been a greater need to gain a better understanding of this condition that affects so many.
We are proud to announce that we will be hosting the 20th Anniversary of Baptist Hospital’s Annual Autism Conference. Our guest speaker, Dr. Andy Shih from Autism Speaks, and our moderator, Dr. Michael Alessandri from University of Miami, will discuss how Autism Speaks is committed to providing each person’s and families with resources to meet their unique needs throughout every stage of life.
Target Audience
Pediatricians, Neurologists, Family Practice Physicians, Psychiatrists, Hospitalists, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and other interested healthcare professionals and members of the community.
