The Healing Edge Wound Care Symposium
The Wound Care Symposium is designed to equip bedside caregivers with essential knowledge and practical skills to effectively assess, monitor, and manage wounds across diverse patient populations and care settings. Given the prevalence of wounds in acute, outpatient, and home health environments, timely, evidence-based education is critical to optimizing patient outcomes and preventing complications.
Led by an experienced interprofessional faculty, this comprehensive program will highlight current advances in wound and ostomy care. Key topics include negative pressure wound therapy, management of venous stasis and lymphedema, best practices in ostomy care, and the identification and management of skin failure
Designed for physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses, the symposium provides clinically relevant content applicable across the continuum of care. Participants will gain actionable strategies and an enhanced understanding of evidence-based interventions to improve wound healing, reduce complications, and support patient recovery.
