With a focus on improving mental health and healthcare, this symposium will address topics that are of current interest to behavioral health professionals and others with information that is not available in concise form elsewhere.

Please join us to hear the group of thought leaders we have brought together to learn about and discuss issues such as anxiety in children, consequences of prolonged periods of trauma, working in and with diverse populations, and well-being in the workplace.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this symposium, participants should be better able to:

  • Outline new information and approaches to mental and behavioral healthcare.
  • Utilize current evidence-based information and approaches in individual and group patient care situations.
  • Assess the impact of new approaches to behavioral health needs.
