Lipid Management Program
The Lipid Management Program at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute is a resource to help patients who require additional expertise to assess their cardiovascular risk and to manage their lipids. Typically, primary care physicians, endocrinologists and cardiologists assess and monitor lipids in patients. Our Lipid Management Program is designed to help patients that are unable to tolerate traditional lipid management therapies or that have complex disorders that require specialized care. We work collaboratively with your physician to help you reach your lipid goal in a safe and well-tolerated way.
The Lipid Management Program is covered under insurance. Referrals from physicians are recommended but not required. Patients who are interested in the program are invited to call 786-204-4499 for more information or to set up a consultation with a cardiovascular lipid specialist.
