VENDOR - BHSF Compliance/Ethics Training Course
South Miami Hospital entered into a Corporate Integrity Agreement with the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services which mandates annual compliance education. This is the MANDATORY compliance training course for VENDORS and must be completed by October 1, 2020.

Learning Objectives
- Identify fraud, waste and abuse.
- Abide by the Stark Statute and Anti-kickback statutes and explain how the laws relate to them individually.
- Abide by the requirements of the Corporate Integrity Agreement and explain how it affects them.
- Utilize the new role of Hospital Compliance Officer to discuss compliance questions and address potential issues as they are identified.
