COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will allow learners to expand their leadership skills and improve communication practices, as well as develop consensus building and decision-making skills. Through active learner participation and refinement of communication skills, leaders will be better equipped to preempt potential conflict by understanding diverse viewpoints to find common ground for complex situations.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Department directors, department chairs, active Medical Staff contributors, committee members and those with past roles as medical staff leaders. NOTE: This course is by invitation only. Participants are identified by Sergio Segarra, MD, VP of Medical Affairs.
