COURSE DESCRIPTION:  

Please join us for a conference on “Epilepsy: Beyond Anti-seizure Medications” with Pooja Patel, M.D. Dr. Patel will demonstrate the ability to identify and classify patients with medically refractory epilepsy based on clinical criteria and treatment history and conduct a comprehensive pre-surgical evaluation. Dr Patel will also explain the indications, risks, and expected outcomes of various epilepsy surgical procedures, and evaluate the appropriateness of neurostimulation therapies assess and initiate dietary therapies

Internal Medicine Physicians, Cardiologists, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, Residents, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Medical Students, and all other interested healthcare providers
