COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
Please join us for a conference on Sepsis and Septic Shock - A Decade of Evidence with Aashish Neupane, M.D. Dr. Neupane will define and explain the updated Sepsis 3.0 criteria, including key differences from previous definitions, interpret and evaluate the clinical utility of emerging diagnostic tests and biomarkers for early detection and monitoring of sepsis, and assess and monitor tissue perfusion and microcirculatory function in septic patients to guide therapeutic interventions.

Internal Medicine Physicians, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, Residents,  Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, and all other interested healthcare providers

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Define and explain the updated Sepsis 3.0 criteria, including key differences from previous definitions.
  • Interpret and evaluate the clinical utility of emerging diagnostic tests and biomarkers for early detection and monitoring of sepsis.
  • Apply current evidence-based guidelines to develop and implement appropriate management plans for patients with sepsis.
  • Assess and monitor tissue perfusion and microcirculatory function in septic patients to guide therapeutic interventions.
