COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Please join us for a conference on Chronic Pancreatitis: Concepts and Complications with Jodie A. Barkin, M.D., FACG. Dr. Barkin will define the disease process, diagnosis and management of chronic pancreatitis and associated complications; identify the etiologies, recognize the symptoms and explore the treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency; describe endocrine pancreatic insufficiency (diabetes) in chronic pancreatitis; and discuss the impact and consequences of untreated exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and diabetes in pancreatic diseases.
