Course Description:

Recognizing and accurately assessing complex fractures radiographically upon emergency room arrival is essential when evaluating orthopedic trauma fractures. A broken bone must be carefully stabilized and supported until it is strong enough to handle the body's weight and movement. Physicians must compare indications for surgical and nonsurgical treatment of orthopedic fractures as well as implement best-practice surgical techniques when treating complex fractures.

Orthopedists, Internists, Family Medicine Practitioners, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Urgent Care Physicians, Residents, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Students and all other interested healthcare providers.
