COURSE DESCRIPTION:
A multidisciplinary team approach to care is fostered through peer-to-peer discussion and collaboration.  The team diagnosis and treatment, includes radiological, pathological findings and immunohistochemical testing, bridges these gaps across the continuum of care in order to enhance the overall quality of patient-centered GU care.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, General Surgeons, Pathologists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists (personal growth), Patient Care Facilitators and all Personnel involved in the care of the endocrine cancer patient.
 
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:

  • Implement optimal course of treatment for endocrine cancer patients.
  • Utilize multiple disciplinary approaches to diagnosis and treatment options, including radiological findings.
  • Determine cancer staging using various modalities of endocrine cancers.
  • Promote a multidisciplinary team approach by bridging gas across the continuum of care in order to enhance the overall quality of patient-centered endocrine cancer care.
