COURSE DESCRIPTION

At the Baptist Health Patient Safety Simulation Lab, participants practice essential cognitive, technical, and behavioral skills using advanced, computer-operated mannequins. These mannequins simulate life-threatening medical emergencies and respond to participants’ actions in real-time. Participants benefit from immediate debriefing sessions, where they can reflect on their performance and communication with their team. This multidisciplinary approach helps improve teamwork and overall performance, preparing participants to handle critical medical situations with confidence.
