Please join us for GME Faculty Development Series as we discuss a strategic approach to the development of our faculty in graduate medical education
TARGET AUDIENCE:
GME faculty and all other interested healthcare professionals
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Increase awareness of the importance of well-being for residents, physicians, peers and other members of the healthcare team.
- Identify stressors that can impact physician well-being and quality patient care.
- Recognize signs and symptoms of impairment from fatigue/sleep deprivation, burnout, depression, substance use disorders, suicidal ideation and potential for violence.
- Apply and use self-screening tools and strategies to reduce the risk of fatigue/sleep deprivation, burnout, depression, substance use disorders, suicidal ideation and potential for violence and promote physician well-being and quality patient care.
