Pain Management in Advanced Illness Hospitalized Patients

Healthcare providers should be able to recognize and appropriately manage pain in hospitalized patients. In this course, physicians will identify key pharmacological principles of opioid analgesics, which will assist them in implementing appropriate treatment plans for hospitalized patients experiencing pain with an advanced illness.

Target Audience

Family Medicine Physicians, Pediatricians, General Internists, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Hospitalists, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Social Workers.
