Miami Cancer Institute 2020 Head and Neck Cancer Webinar

Head and Neck Cancer Symposium Directors Guilherme Rabinowits, M.D., and Geoffrey Young, M.D., Ph.D. will lead this one-hour webinar that will provide a brief update on oral oncology, reconstruction for oral cavity defects and clinical trials.  They will be joined by Meghan Crawley, M.D., Noah Kalman, M.D., and Evan Rosen, DMD, distinguished faculty members at Miami Cancer Institute.

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the dental management of head and neck cancer. 
  • Identify the role of each healthcare professional in the detection, management, rehabilitation and dental care of head and neck cancer patients.
  • Summarize fundamental and brief history and premise of reconstruction of the oral cavity. 
  • Apply new technology in surgical planning and transplantation.
  • Effectively identify patients who would benefit from clinical trial treatment options and disease-stage treatment plans. 
  • Assess the quality of clinical practice guidelines on screening and diagnosis of oral cancers.
