COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Please join us for a conference on "Approaching the Weak Patient: Practical Strategies for Diagnosing Myasthenia Gravis (MG)" with Svetlana Faktorovich, M.D. Dr. Faktorovich will review treatment options, identify red flags and alternative diagnoses in the differential evaluation of a patient presenting with weakness, and select appropriate diagnostic testing for MG and interpret in clinical context.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
• Recognize the key clinical features of Myasthenia Gravis that distinguish it from other causes of neuromuscular weakness
• Perform a comprehensive, targeted bedside evaluation of a patient presenting with weakness, focused on signs that increase or decrease the likelihood of Myasthenia Gravis
• Identify red flags and alternative diagnoses in the differential evaluation of a patient presenting with weakness
• Select appropriate diagnostic testing for MG and interpret in clinical context
• Recognize the signs and symptoms that warrant urgent intervention
• Review treatment options
