COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
Approximately 10 million people misused prescription pain relievers and about 50,000 died of opioid overdose in 2019. Medical professionals play a pivotal role in facilitating the proper use of opioids. Please join us for responsible prescribing of opioid medications with Dr. Jonathan Kamerlink.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Internal Medicine Physicians, Pain Medicine Physicians, Physician Assistants, Residents, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Pharmacists and all other interested healthcare providers.

• Describe current Florida Law for prescribing opioids.
• Implement reason opioid prescriptions.
