COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
Early treatment is essential to prevent certain common eye diseases, such as cataracts, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Primary care physicians could play a pivotal role promoting vision care.  Please join us for a photo montage of common and interesting ophthalmoscopic findings with Dr. David Snyder.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Internal Medicine Physicians, Ophthalmologists, Physician Assistants, Residents, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Pharmacists and all other interested healthcare providers.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Discuss the importance of primary care physicians to perform ophthalmoscopic examination of fundus as part of physical exam.
  • Recognize interesting and common ophthalmologic and ophthalmoscopic findings.
  • Appreciate that most systemic diseases have ocular manifestations.
