COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
Please join us for a conference on Navigating the Airways: An Introduction to Interventional Pulmonology with David M. Wisa, M.D., DAABIP.  Dr. Wisa will describe the scope, indications, and core procedures of interventional pulmonology within the evaluation and management of airway disease and identify common airway pathologies and clinical scenarios in which interventional pulmonology techniques are indicated. 

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Internal Medicine Physicians, Cardiologists, Pulmonologists, Oncologists, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, Residents, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, and all other interested healthcare providers

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Describe the scope, indications, and core procedures of interventional pulmonology within the evaluation and management of airway disease. 
  • Identify common airway pathologies and clinical scenarios in which interventional pulmonology techniques are indicated. 
  • Recognize the roles of bronchoscopy-based diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in improving patient outcomes.
