COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
Please join us for a conference on Inpatient Management of Hypertension with Renee E. Amori, M.D., FACE. Dr. Amori will briefly review physiology and known side effects of Glucagon-like peptide receptor agonists (GLP1RAs), evaluate data on which expanded indications, beyond type 2 diabetes and obesity, for use are based and implement GLP1RAs therapy in patients with appropriate indications

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Internal Medicine Physicians, Cardiologists, Pulmonologists, Oncologists, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, Residents, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, and all other interested healthcare providers

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Briefly review physiology and known side effects of Glucagon-like peptide receptor agonists (GLP1RAs).
  • Evaluate data on which expanded indications, beyond type 2 diabetes and obesity, for use are based.
