COURSE DESCRIPTION: 
Please join us for a conference on Screening, Evaluation and Management of Older Adults with High Risk of Falls with Joseph G. Ouslander, M.D.
Dr. Ouslander will demonstrate knowledge and ability describe how to perform  an appropriate basic evaluation of an older patient who has fallen and describe the basic types of interventions used to reduce fall risk in older adults.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Internal Medicine Physicians, Pharmacists, Physician Assistants, Residents,  Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, and all other interested healthcare providers

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

• Review the incidence and consequences of falls in older adults.
• Identify and understand common factors that contribute to falls.
• Describe how to perform an appropriate basic evaluation of an older patient who has fallen.
• Describe the basic types of interventions used to reduce fall risk in older adults.
• Describe the scope of resources available on this topic.
