This course is the exam only for the Compliance Training for South Miami Hospital covered persons (2018) course. Learners experiencing unresolvable technical difficulties with the published online courses who are unable to complete the exam should contact the CME Department for enrollment.  Only learners that the CME Department has verified have successfully viewed all course content are eligible to complete the exam in this format.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify fraud, waste and abuse. 
  • Abide by the Stark Statute and Anti-kickback statutes and explain how the laws relate to them individually.   
  • Abide by the requirements of the Corporate Integrity Agreement and explain how it affects them. 
  • Utilize the new role of Hospital Compliance Officer to discuss compliance questions and address potential issues as they are identified.
