Anxiety Disorders: Identification and Management in Primary Care
This online course will provide practical, evidence-based strategies in the evaluation and management of anxiety disorders commonly seen in primary care, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Family physicians, general internists, hospitalists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacy, pharmacy technicians, dietitians and respiratory therapists (personal growth).
- Identify the prevalence and diagnostic criteria for anxiety disorders commonly seen in primary care.
- Identify the prevalence of anxiety during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Screen for anxiety disorders with evidence-based tools.
- Demonstrate evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders.
