COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This activity addresses professional practice gaps relevant to physicians in the practice of cardiology. In addition, physicians that identify conditions and refer patients to a cardiovascular surgeon and those specialists to whom a cardiologist might refer for further evaluation or treatment.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
Invited Baptist Health Cardiologists, Cardiovascular Surgeons and Cardiac Cath Lab nurses, sonographers and radiology technologists.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Review results from various cath and cardiac surgery cases.
- Implement evidence-based strategies into clinical practice to improve care of the cardiac patient
